AVIAN INFLUENZA (Bird Flu)

Defra have introduced an Avian Influenza Prevention Zone across the whole of England.

This means all poultry and bird keepers have a legal requirement to follow strict biosecurity measures including keeping their birds and feed and water supplies enclosed/fenced to prevent contact with wild birds.

If any of your birds become sick or die you should seek Veterinary advice immediately.
